1998 Second Avenue is a newly constructed affordable luxury rental building located in one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods. A rental unlike any other, 1998 Second Avenue is a leisurely walk to Central Park and the East River Greenway and Esplanade situated for easy access to Upper East Side’s dining and shopping. Located a few blocks from the 4 and 6 subway lines, as well as the new Second Avenue subway and multiple bus lines. This brand-new development features studio to three-bedroom residences in Community Board 11.
Individuals or households who meet the income and household size requirements listed in the table linked below may apply. Qualified applicants will be required to meet additional selection criteria. Applicants who live in New York City receive a general preference for apartments.
Qualified applicants will be selected through a lottery to lease affordable, rent-stabilized apartments at 1998 Second Avenue. The lottery is run in cooperation with New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
